At their most recent annual banquet, The Orlando Chapter of the Women’s Counsel of Realtors® recognized Dana Ward and Heidi Foster of Real Estate Closing Solutions. Dana Ward was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year Award due to his commitment of time and talents on a continuous basis with hands-on involvement with nonprofit organizations such as the Florida Real Estate Foundation’s Heroes’ Commons at Jefferson Park.
The Florida Real Estate Foundation’s Heroes’ Commons at Jefferson Park is a veteran housing program that collaborates with the City of Orlando to design, construct, and donate six single-family homes to wounded, injured, and/or ill veterans. As a United States veteran himself, Ward invests his personal time and money toward this particular initiative in order to benefit the veterans that reside in Orlando.
Heidi Foster was awarded the Extra Effort Award, which recognizes her provision of time and talents toward the goals of the organization and the real estate industry. Her active and continuous involvement includes readily taking on additional tasks, going above and beyond with her creativity, and taking on her position with a positive attitude.
“We are so honored to be recognized by the Women’s Counsel of Realtors®, and we are excited to continue to support these organizations, which require so much needed attention,” said Dana Ward, owner of Real Estate Closing Solutions.
